Another week, another set of Hunt Pass challenges have dropped for Dauntless, and with 19 days left on the current season at the time of writing, the pressure is really on to get those additional level-ups.
As usual, there are four different challenges, each offering 150 Heartseekers, which equates to one and a half level-ups on your Hunt Pass. Complete all four and you’ll be six levels higher. Combine that with the 50 Heartseekers you can earn via daily deathmarks collected around Ramsgate and you’ll be well on your way to mastering the Hunt Pass, and that’s not including the bonuses obtained via breaking Behemoth parts. Anyway, here’s the challenges for Week 5.
Dauntless Season 5 Week 5 Challenges
Frost Hazard – Slay 10 Behemoths Using Frost Weapons Behemoth’s Bane – Slay 10 Behemoths Using Hammers or War Pikes
The standard challenges that can be knocked out at the same time. Equip a Frost Hammer or War Pike and go hunt some Blaze Behemoths. 10 hunts later and you’ll be at least 300 Heartseekers richer, probably a lot more if you consistently break Behemoth parts.
Master of Evasion – Dodge Through 125 Attacks
You’ll make natural progression through this one as you play, but if you really want to get it over and done with, start a solo hunt against a low level Behemoth like a Gnasher or a Skarn, and just keep dodging through their attacks. Make sure you dodge through and not away, otherwise it might not count. The dodges can be a bit finicky, but playing solo should ensure you get this challenge done quickly.
Behemoth, Interrupted – Get 30 Interrupts On Any Behemoths
As the name would suggest, interrupting means disrupting a Behemoth’s incoming attack. Most Behemoths use charging attacks, which can easily be interrupted using the Hammer’s ranged attack. Again, the best port of call here would be solo hunts, as you can ensure you’re the one doling out the interrupts instead of your party members.
