Behaviour have just confirmed that their hit asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror, Dead By Daylight, will be coming to Android and iOS later in 2019.

The mobile version will be rebuilt from the ground up for mobile devices, and will be a free-to-play title.

Here’s the teaser for Dead By Daylight on mobile.

Developed by a dedicated mobile team, Dead by Daylight Mobile will be fully optimized and offer the same gameplay and modes that fans enjoy, with new controls and an experience carefully crafted for smartphones and tablets. It will be available before the end of 2019. Behaviour will support this version in the long-term with regular content updates, following the PC and console roadmap. This year, more than ever, Death is not an escape.

And some screens:

Cannily called Dead by Daylight Mobile, the new version will be developed by a dedicated mobile team and come with constant content updates in line with its PC and console counterparts.

There will actually be two versions of Dead By Daylight playable on the go before the year is up. A Switch version is due sometime in fall 2019.

Last time I played Dead By Daylight, it was on PS4 and wasn’t exactly buttery smooth, so I am plenty interested to see how the heck Behaviour will be managing this version. Good on them for even attempting it regardless.
