DARQ: Complete Edition Launching Digitally This December

Coming to PC, current gen and next gen too.

DARQ

UPDATE (17/09/2020): Feardemic have responded to our email to confirm that DARQ: Complete Edition will support Smart Delivery, meaning if you purchase the game on current gen consoles, you’ll receive your copy on next-gen too.

ORIGINAL POST (13/08/2020): Feardemic have announced that their psychological horror DARQ, developed by Unfold Games, will receive a complete edition that’s launching on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and the Nintendo Switch this December. No Stadia though, unfortunately for the five of you hoping for some news. Here’s the official trailer for you to enjoy.

DARQ puts you in the lucid dream of a boy named Lloyd, who unfortunately realises that he’s unable to wake up. In order to survive the night, he’ll have to solve various puzzles, manipulate the fabric of the dream and avoid being detected by the nightmare’s horrific denizens.

The Complete Edition of DARQ will feature the base game, which has been available on PC since August 2019, and the two DLC expansions. The first DLC, The Tower, launched back in March, while the second set of DLC, The Crypt, is set to launch alongside the Complete Edition in December. The Complete Edition of DARQ will launch digitally first, with a physical console release set for early 2021. The official blog post isn’t totally clear on whether DARQ will support Smart Delivery or a similar system regarding PS5 and Xbox Series X, so we’ve reached out for clarification and will update the post accordingly if they respond.
