Cyberpunk 2077: How To Get More Tattoos

Where tattoo next?

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most robust games ever made, it having no shortage of options in its character creator and a tonne of different ways of approaching its story and just generally how you tackle Night City. But is there a way to get more tattoos, or even change your tattoos in Cyberpunk 2077?

When you start off, you can give your male or female V a collection of tattoos from a few presets. There are some neat designs amongst them all, including some facial ones as well as much subtler ink, so there’s plenty of ways to utilise the canvas known as V.

However, if you want more, you’re out of luck. There is currently no way of getting new tattoos or changing the ones you already have in Cyberpunk 2077. The game doesn’t warn you that your choices in the character creator are absolutely final, which is a big disappointment.

This doesn’t mean that Cyberpunk 2077 will never have the option to add new tattoos, though. CD Projekt Red are famous for turning troubled games around and adding new features over time, so it’s not out of the realms of possibility.

That said, it’s beyond bizarre that there’s no option in a game where you can change your very skeleton to add a few tattoos here and there. Sure, it’s played almost entirely in first-person view, but you can still see your arms and hands whenever using guns or throwing punches. It makes even less sense that not being able to change your hairstyles after the initial character creator, which borders on criminal.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia.
