After cryptic marketing playing on the popularity of the Dark Souls franchise, Code Vein was announced last year to quite a lot of interest, as it came somewhat out of left field. By the same developers as the God Eater series, it’ll be interesting to see where they go with the premise.
Here’s what we know so far about Code Vein:
What is Code Vein’s release date?
The game is expected to release this year, with a press email possibly having leaked that the game will release in July. The exact date will most likely be confirmed at E3.
Where can I play Code Vein?
Code Vein will be playable on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Whether or not they’ll port it to Switch eventually is another question. For that answer, we’ll just have to wait and see.
What genre does Code Vein belong to?
The game will be a “dungeon exploration-type, hard action RPG” according to Famitsu. Being developed by the same people as God Eater, we might be able to expect a similar level of intensity in the gameplay.
