Cyberpunk 2077 developers CD Projekt Red have confirmed that they currently have no plans to release a beta for their highly anticipated game, meaning you’re out of luck if you were hoping to play the game before it launches on November 19th.
The announcement comes from a reply to a PSA that CD Projekt Red put out early today. Turns out, scammers and all-round awful have been using the possibility of a beta for the game to send out emails to unsuspected victims. The developers don’t go into specifics on what these emails contained, but it’s likely that they were aimed at harvesting data or scamming money from you.

Of course, it’s hard for fakers to try and sell the idea of a beta to players if the developers come out and say that there are no plans for a beta. In a reply to the above tweet, CD Projekt Red confirmed that we’ll have to wait until November if we want to enter the world of Night City.
We do not have plans for that. Sorry!
