After the recent leak of double XP Monster Energy Drink cans for Halo Infinite, the long-rumoured Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has now been revealed via some Doritos promotional material. All we need is a new Unreal Tournament game to be confirmed by Mountain Dew and we have the gamer fuel trifecta. One of the images was shared on Twitter by Call of Duty site charlieINTEL.

The leak comes from Modern Warzone, who covered a story regarding the YouTuber TheGamingRevolution. They received a DM featuring pictures of Doritos promotional material which included the logo for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, along with information regarding how to redeem double XP tokens and the chance to earn double XP for a whole year.
The images state that the promotion will start on October 5th, 2020, before concluding on January 31st, 2021, so it’s likely that the new Call of Duty will launch a couple of weeks after the promotion starts. Modern Warfare launched on October 25th of last year, and Call of Duty games always tend to launch around October, so the dates line up. All that remains is for Activision to actually reveal the game. Maybe then it’ll stop turning up on digital storefronts as The Red Door.
