Monster Energy Is Teaming Up With Halo Infinite, Creating “Monster Chief”

Monster Chief isn't real. He can't hurt you.

Monster Energy drinks have seemingly teamed up with Halo Infinite, with players purchasing cans of Monster in order to redeem double XP tokens when Infinite launches at the end of the year. The partnership has now created what we’re dubbing as “Monster Chief”. You’ll welcome. The cans were found by TechRaptor, and you can check out a picture below.

The cans can be redeemed up until December 31st, and there’s also a Snapchat code for a Halo AR Experience, so the 5 people that still use Snapchat can enjoy some exclusive Halo content. This news has dropped ahead of Halo Infinite’s big campaign reveal scheduled for later today.

This isn’t the first time an Xbox franchise has partnered with an energy drink company, as Gears 5 collaborated with Rockstar Energy Drinks to provide bonus XP and in-game content for people who purchased cans. It’s likely it won’t be the last either. Maybe we’ll see Fable 4 (if it gets announced) teaming up with Irn Bru or Lucozade Sport.

If Halo Infinite is teaming with Monster Energy drink, does that mean that “Monster Chief” also exists in Death Stranding? Let us know your best theory in the comments.
