Blasphemous 2: How to Defeat Susona, Fermosa Fembra

With her gentle demeanor and saintly appearance, you could be forgiven for thinking that Susona, Fermosa Fembra, is a benevolent Blasphemous 2 NPC when you first come across her. Unfortunately, it isn’t long after you reach her that she unleashes her true form. With her cherubs free of their tethers, she can float pretty much anywhere in the room, which can make her pretty tough to hit.

That’s why you want to go with Veredicto for this battle. You’re also going to want a prayer that you can attack with while in the air, like the red circle projectile or the homing attack. A lot of prayers are kind of useless against this enemy, so make sure you pick a good one to come in with.

You’ll quickly notice that one of her most common attacks, the floating vertical beam technique, is also her most baffling. When she shoots out a wide beam of energy that hovers around the screen, frying everything in its midst, don’t try and dodge through it. You can’t. What you really want to do is look for a platform that appears and disappears throughout the battle and hide under that instead.

As for her lightning attack, which sends wave after wave of electricity your way, you can dodge through it but only in the air. Like with the previous boss, if you try it on the ground, you’re going to take damage. Her clockwise circle pattern of blue orbs can also be jumped or dodged through, depending on your circumstances, by observing the pattern and how close Susona is to you.

This Blasphemous 2 foe will also shoot waves of electric orbs in your direction in a horizontal square pattern. This is continuous, so you need to find the blank space in each pattern and use your skills to either dodge or slide to safety during this attack. Don’t worry about fighting back until this move is over.

That’s pretty much it for her attacks, though, and she only has one form. As has been the case in the past, if you have accepted the help of the spear warrior, she will make things even easier, occasionally showing up to take a chunk of her own out of Susona’s health. Either way, just stick to these tips, and you’ll have her done and dusted in no time.
