Blasphemous 2: How to Defeat Sinodo, Hymn of the Thousand Voices

If you’re craving some of the more grim and nasty bosses that populated the first game, Sinodo, Hymn of the Thousand Voices in Blasphemous 2 will likely help you scratch that itch. A hideous creature made up of heads waddling around in a Catholic robe, this abomination makes itself even more unsettling by swapping heads throughout the battle.

Luckily for you, though, they all share a health bar regardless of who’s calling the shots. First off, note that you can only cause damage by hitting the head that’s in charge and that you’ll probably want a quicker weapon, like the broadsword or the fencing swords, in order to be most effective.

If you’ve been following our guides for Blasphemous 2 bosses up until this point, you’ll also be absolutely shocked to hear that we’re suggesting you use the red ring projectile attack as your prayer of choice for this fight. What can we say, it’s just so incredibly versatile and useful for enemies who stand in one spot for extended periods of time, regardless of what kind of attack they’re letting off. Stand a proper length away and peg Sinodo in the head with this attack any chance you get.

For the energy orbs that Sinodo lets off pretty much relentlessly, note that you can dodge through them, but considering how numerous they are, you’re better off staying away a bit during this attack and then double-jumping through the barrage. There is also an extended attack where Sinodo shoots flames out of its side. When you see this happening, get directly in front of him and attack like mad, as the flames never quite reach the center of the boss.

The shuffling pillars of flames can be dodged, but you’ll need to jump and dodge through them in order to bypass them successfully. This is because they send flaming shockwaves off at the bottom, meaning you’ll just get knocked around if you try to use the maneuver from the ground.

Lastly, you’ll want to be careful as the fight comes to a close. As things get dicey for this Blasphemous 2 foe, he will set fire to the entire arena, forcing you to jump around on floating handholds. If you’ve made it this far, though, just stick to the one closest to him and swing away mercilessly between jumps. You should have him dead before the flames or his other attacks take you out.
