April 2018’s PlayStation Plus Games Available Today

It’s time to get a little peeved, or maybe even mad. April 2018’s PlayStation Plus games are landing today (April 3rd) and include one of 2015’s most polarising games and some manic tracking.

I’ll be frank and admit that Mad Max annoyed me terribly when I reviewed it, though I am willing to give it a second chance. When I originally played it, it was duelling with The Phantom Pain for my attention and ultimately came out worse for wear. It had some cool ideas, for sure, so it’s definitely going to be something I give another look.

The next biggest hitter is TrackMania Turbo from Ubisoft, which was the first entry in the series since 2009. It released to some good reviews and was even previously released as part of Games With Gold. It isn’t Forza or GT, but not every racing game needs to be.

Trackmania Turbo

Here’s the full list:

– Mad Max (PS4)
– Trackmania Turbo (PS4)
– In Space We Brawl (PS3)
– Toy Home (PS3)
– 99 VIDAS (PS Vita)
– Q*Bert Rebooted (PS3/PS4/PS Vita)

Bear in mind that the PlayStation PLus library tends to update erratically, sometimes way late into the day. As a safe rule of thumb, check it out around noontime to see if you can download the new games yet. If you’re reading this early in the morning, you may still have time to snap up Bloodborne if you forgot to.
