Animal Crossing: New Horizons: What Does The Billiard Table Do?

FORE! Wait.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the perfect game to let you live out another life, whether that’s a life where you run a whole town or are actually good at sports. If you’re on the sporty side, you probably want to pick up the Billiard Table.

Also known as the simple pool table, the Billiard Table is smaller than its real life counterpart and can fit into most houses. You can buy it from Nook’s Cranny for an eye-watering 77,000 Bells. This is the only place you can get the Billiard Table in-game in New Horizons, it does not appear from a balloon and cannot be crafted via a DIY recipe.

If you want to sell a Billiard Table in New Horizons, the price at Nook’s Cranny is 19,520 Bells.

As for what the Billiard Table does, it is entirely ornamental and cannot be interacted with in any way. Pressing A on the Billiard Table will not make anything happen, not even a small animation or sound effect.

If you’re looking to fill out a sports or entertainment area, however, the Billiard Table is a decent choice. It only takes up 2×1 squares, too, so it is likely to fit anywhere without much fuss.

Struggling to find the Billiard Table in the game? There’s always the option of checking out Nookazon, a community run site that lets you buy items directly from other players. Be warned, though: the prices can get a little ridiculous over there.

If you’re looking for more really expensive items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Desktop Computer, Aluminum Briefcase, and Whirlpool Bath will all make your bank account weep.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. From our review:

“New Horizons is a great continuation of an already fantastic series of games, and paying back Tom Nook’s loan has never been so fun.”
