New Metro Exodus Gameplay Trailer Wants You To Fear The Dark

Metro Exodus

With Gamescon wrapping up for another year, we have been given many reasons to get excited over the upcoming video games that seem only a stone’s throw away, yet so far at the same time. One such game, Metro Exodus, has been getting people foaming at the mouth especially, and with its new trailer being shown over the weekend, it is very clear to see why.

Though it was announced last year and boasted day and night cycles, a more robust gun modification system and open environments, 4A Games have been carefully tight lipped about to expect in the third installment of the dystopian FPS.

However, some new light has finally been shed and it is going to make fans nervous of the dark, making some Metro diehards yearn for the good old days of running around in empty subway tunnels and conserving precious bullets – the good news there is, you will have to still conserve your ammunition.

The trailer itself does show off some truly beautiful presentation and nightmare fuel in the way of spooky abandoned buildings in the middle of nowhere, sprawling forest landscapes to explore and a rather terrifying scenario involving a bear with quite the collection of teeth.

“Thousands of kilometres from the ruins of Moscow, Artyom and his companions discover what seems like paradise – a lush, green valley, teeming with life. But if their years in the Metro have taught them one thing, it is this:The night brings terror. And here, terror has a new face…”

Fans will not have to wait long to uncover the great ghastly outdoors of Metro Exodus as its release is set to be on 22nd February 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and Steam.
