New Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer Outlines Open-World Gameplay

Red Dead

We’ve been waiting a long time to actually see some proper gameplay with Red Dead Redemption 2, but that day had finally arrived. Feast your eyes on that beautiful trailer below, and get excited for the game’s impending release. Well, more excited probably. And yes, it’s one of those voice over trailer that Rockstar love.

The trailer itself gives a broad overview of what life on the frontier is like in the boots of Arthur Morgan. We see how, as part of the Van der Linde gang, he travels across the midwest and frontier. What’s interesting is the morality system that the game appears to be shooting for, as you’re in control of how honourable Arthur can be. They’ve also brought back the conversation options from Bully, as you can now greet or antagonise civilians as you see fit.

We get a glimpse at how the fist-fighting and gunplay have been improved since the original Red Dead Redemption, along with how the bond with your horse will improve as the game progresses. In a 6 minute trailer, there’s a lot to take in, and the next gameplay video promises to focus on missions and activities. We can’t wait.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch on October 26th for PS4 and Xbox One. Are you ready for it? Sound off in the comments below.
