There’s little scarier than the end of the day in Dying Light 2, with the game’s strongest enemies coming out to play and danger never too far away. But when does night fall in Dying Light 2?
Night kicks off in Dying Light 2 at 7:30 PM. After night falls, special infected like Howlers and Virals will be far more common and you will get chased by endless hordes of Virals and later Volatiles until you manage to shake them.
You will start hearing audio warnings at 7PM, such as the Peacekeepers rounding up their troops to fall back, before night rolls around and the infected begin crashing through windows to get to you. Not nice.
The day will start again at 8AM, with most of the infected apart from the Biters and occasional Viral returning to their hovels ready to start their chaos all over again the following night.
If you’re wondering, every minute in Dying Light 2 last for roughly 4 seconds in the real world. Every in-game hour lasts for roughly 4 real world minutes, meaning that the daytime lasts for about 45 minutes of real world time in total.
