Will Ghost Of Tsushima: Legends Have Microtransactions?

Nope. There's the collective sigh of relief.

Ghost of Tsushima

Yesterday, Sucker Punch announced the existence of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, a free co-op expansion to their single-player PS4 exclusive that’s launching later this year. Sucker Punch stated that this mode includes customisation, which naturally led people to believe there’d be microtransactions on the horizon, but the developers have stated that won’t be the case.

In a statement sent to IGN regarding the announcement, Sucker Punch have confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will not be adding microtransactions post-launch: “There are no microtransactions in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, and we have absolutely no plans to add them. All of the content is unlocked through play.”

Naturally, as it’s a multiplayer expansion, you’ll need a PS Plus subscription in order to play Legends. Sucker Punch will also be revealing more details about the update as we get closer to launch. Will you be playing Ghost of Tsushima: Legends? Sound off in the comments down below.
