Jet Lancer Heading To PC & Switch This May

Be your own Maverick.

Jet Lancer

Indie developers Code Walkers have announced that their 2D aerial combat game Jet Lancer will be heading to Steam, Mac and the Nintendo Switch on May 12th, and you can check out the trailer for yourself below.

Created by the duo of Vladimir Fedyushkin and Nicolai Danielsen and to be published by Armor Games Studios, Jet Lancer combines frantic 2D aerial dogfighting with a high-degree of customisation and upgrades, along with a dramatic story of humans versus killer robots.

While designed to be a bit of a challenge, Jet Lancer does include accessibility options to make the game more accommodating to all players, with damage modifiers, anti-fatigue control toggles, and a variety of visual adjustments all included. On top of that, the game will also feature a New Game+, ensuring there’s always more upgrading to do and techniques to learn.

In a press release regarding the announcement, Nicolai Danielsen said: “Working on Jet Lancer has felt like a constant in my life a long time now, so releasing it into the world is a really exciting step. I hope people will welcome it and have the same fondness for it as we do.” Fellow developer Vladimir Fedyushkin added: “It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come, from small passion project to a multi-platform release. What I’m most excited for is to see people finally experience the game for themselves.”

Jet Lancer’s mix of beautiful graphical style, awesome soundtrack and exciting gameplay could make for a real sleeper hit when it launches next month. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments.
