Damien
Based on classic horror flick The Oman, Damien follows it’s terrifying main character (who’s also the Antichrist) as a grown up. Bradley James (King Arthur in BBC’s Merlin) plays the son of the Devil as an adult who has forgotten his satanic origins. What direction this one takes is unclear, but we have high hopes it could deliver some excellent dark drama.
Preacher
The phrase “based on a critically acclaimed comic book” is one you might be bored of hearing at this point, but Preacher looks like the kind of violent affair that might grab your attention. Centered on a preacher imbued with a mysterious power the series will follow his journey as he sets himself the lofty goal of actually finding and meeting God.
Luke Cage

It’s not long since we last saw Mike Colter as Luke Cage, the hero for hire, in Netflix’s Jessica Jones. Next year though, he’ll be getting a series all to himself to explore his own backstory and fight his own villains. No trailer for this one yet, but Netflix have done enough of these shows already for us to know it should be good. Like its sister shows, Luke Cage will be set in New York.
Victoria

After leaving Doctor Who, Jenna Coleman will be time travelling one last time to play the role of a young Queen Victoria in ITV’s imaginatively named Victoria. No details yet on what events in the monarch’s life will be covered, but British actor Tom Hughes has been cast as Prince Albert. British TV generally seems to do decent costume dramas, so let’s be optimistic about this one.
