Subject – Night before interview, nerves
It hasn’t stopped raining since Tuesday, getting quite depressing now, and it makes all the dirt on the streets stink, it’s a chore to walk down the road right now. I guess I’m avoiding the subject, if any of you follow this, then you’ve probably guessed I’m so nervous about the interview tomorrow. I’ve been sitting here for four hours going over my notes for tomorrow. I keep glancing over at Shin Cypher and filling up with nerves. I wish couldn’t see it, its not doing me any good at all. I’m usually good in interviews, but I know nothing about what I’m covering here. I’m going in completely blind, and that makes me edgy. I think this city makes me edgy overall, starting to get the feeling that I’m always being watched. I think my conversations with fixxxer have finally started to get to me.
Shit, wave of brownouts, I’m going to have to finish this quickly. Washington is so bad for them, its really starting to get to me now. We’ve been told that the industrial sectors are overtaxed because of The War, or that the Administration guys on the upper levels need the power, but I don’t buy that. I swear every time the lights go down I can hear gunfire, or someone screaming, even for a few seconds. Being here has made me so paranoid, so much more observant.
I guess I best go to bed at any rate. Shin Cypher want me there by ten tomorrow, I really can’t be late, unless I want them to cancel on me again. I can’t wait to get out of here.
