First Teaser For Aardman’s Early Man Released

Aardman is at it again. The animation studio that delighted millions of children and adults all over the world with their magnificent Wallace and Gromit films are back with Early Man, a prehistoric adventure that looks like it could be their best yet. Enjoy the first teaser below.

Four time Oscar-winner Nick Park returns to direct this Stone Age tale in which Eddie Redmayne voices Dug, a caveman who introduces the game of football into a world filled with dinosaurs and woolly mammoths. Yeah, it ain’t historically accurate, but it still sounds pretty damn awesome.

Despite the fact that most of their feature films are critical darlings, Aardman productions rarely cause a huge splash financially. Even the Oscar-winning Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit only pulled in $192,610,372 worldwide, an amount that was by no means awful, but a long way from what bigger animated features usually earn. So don’t expect Early Man to break box office records when it arrives on 26 January 2018, but do expect one incredibly entertaining cinematic work of art.
