Xbox Series X/S Give FPS Boost to Dishonored, Fallout 4, More

Bethesda's back catalogue gets a graphical enhancement

During a Major Nelson Video Cast, details emerged about a number of games in Bethesda’s catalogue will be getting performance enhancements on the Xbox Series X/S.

Specifically, the games Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Skyrim Special Edition, Dishonored: Definite Edition and Prey will be receving an ‘FPS Boost’ to better run on the next gen hardware.

What is FPS Boost?

 
FPS Boost refers to a process by which Microsoft nearly doubles the framerate of these select games, making them run smoother with higher, more stable framerates.

11 Bethesda Games were recently added to Microsoft’s Game Pass, including Morrowind, Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls Online, Doom 64, The Evil Within, Fallout: New Vegas and Prey. This brings the total number of Bethesda titles on Xbox Game Pass up to 20.
