20 Bethesda Games Joining Xbox Game Pass Today

Hello, weekend plans.

Wolfenstein

This week has largely been dominated by the news of Microsoft closing their acquisition of Bethesda, but during yesterday’s roundtable discussion, it was revealed that 20 Bethesda games would coming to Xbox Game Pass from today, bolstering the ranks of the popular subscription service.

So Which Bethesda Games Will Be Added To Game Pass?

The full list of games can be found below, though it’s worth noting that some games are already available on Game Pass, they just might have been given additional functionality, like a PC or Cloud release for a game that’s already on Console. Here’s the list:

Any Other Bethesda/Game Pass News?

It’s worth noting that the official Xbox post about this announcement teases that some of these games will receive the benefits of FPS Boost in the future. For those unaware, FPS Boost is a tool Microsoft are using to improve the FPS of Xbox One games, using the power of the Xbox Series X | S. Already, FPS Boost is being used by games like Watch Dogs 2, but hopefully we’ll see Skyrim or Fallout 4 double their FPS from 30 to 60fps.

While these additions are all fine and dandy, and they are, it’s hard not to notice some glaring omissions from Bethesda’s potential games line-up. Games like Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, DOOM (2016) or Dishonored: Death of the Outsider are nowhere to be found on Game Pass, so hopefully we’ll see those added in the near future too.
