Wreckfest Coming To Consoles This August

Hey, it's on my birthday. There's my plans sorted.

Wreckfest

Bugbear have announced that their online destruction derby game Wreckfest will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One on August 27th, with both standard and deluxe editions available. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The deluxe edition of the game will also include a 24-hour headstart, meaning you can play the game from August 26th, along with the season pass, which will include 20 cars, 20 roof decorations and a host of additional car customisation options including armour, rims and much more. Pre-ordering either edition will also net you the exclusive Bandit Ripper V8 vehicle.

As for PC players who have already purchased the game since it launched out of early access last June, the developers have promised that a new update will go live on August 27th that’ll include 3 new tracks, one new derby arena, three new challenge vehicles, a new reward car for finishing the career mode, improved career events, new paint jobs, additional times of day for various tracks and more “cool stuff”. We’re hoping that “cool stuff” includes more big vehicles with which to decimate players on lawnmowers.

Are you excited for Wreckfest to finally come to PS4 and Xbox One next month? I know I am, purely because it drops on my birthday, but let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
