Wargaming have announced that World of Tanks Blitz, the faster paced variant of World of Tanks, will be available on the Nintendo eShop from today. Better still, it’s free-to-play, and it doesn’t require a Nintendo Switch online membership in order to play. Check out the announcement trailer below.
World of Tanks Blitz is the mobile specific version of World of Tanks proper, and as such, is catered towards bringing a more casual experience to players. The game boasts 137 million downloads across all available platforms, with the Nintendo Switch version offering full cross-play support, and anyone with a Wargaming.net account can migrate their progress over to the Nintendo Switch too.
For those who are willing to jump in immediately, the in-game shop has a number of goodies to help kickstart your World of Tanks Blitz journey, including 1,000 Gold, 3 days of Premium Account membership and the T2 Medium, a Tier II American tank.
