One Punch Man

With One-Punch Man: Season 3 officially announced, this seems to be the best time for newcomers to jump into the awesome superhero adventure created by the mysterious ONE. The second season of the anime finished its run in 2019, and after three years of anticipation, a new season is in the works. But where’s the best place to watch One-Punch Man online for free?

Currently, you can watch One-Punch Man online for free on Hulu, and Funimation, but that’s only possible if you claim the free trial for new users. Hulu has both seasons of the anime, and it seems to be the go-to place to stream them online.

There are alternatives as well. For instance, Netflix also streams the anime series’ first season only, and aside from Netflix, Crunchyroll has got both seasons available in simuldub, but bear in mind that both platforms require you to purchase a subscription or claim any redeemable 14-day free trial. On the other hand, if you’re looking to own a physical Blu-ray version of the One-Punch Man anime, then Amazon has both seasons listed for purchase.

What is One-Punch Man About?

One-Punch Man originally began as a webcomic back in 2009, but due to its successful reception, and innovative setting, a manga remake drawn by Yusuke Murata this time around instead of ONE was published in 2012. The anime follows the story of Saitama, an overpowered part-time superhero for fun who can beat any villain with a single strike.

Being able to defeat his foes in a single punch has left Saitama bored out of his mind, and with no one there to push him past his limit, he’s vexed about not being able to feel that same rush again. But when Genos, a super modified cyborg catches wind of Saitama’s power, he’s awe-inspired and asks Saitama to become his mentor.

When a comical Saitama and a boisterous Genos join the Hero Association, tons of wild scenarios, gut-wrenching fights, and literally out-of-this-world incidents start happening.

Should I Watch One-Punch Man?

If you’re a fan of superpower anime that have plenty of bewildering and stunningly animated fights, then watching One-Punch Man is a no-brainer. In particular, if My Hero Academia, Fire Force, and Demon Slayer are right up your alley, then definitely give Saitama’s jolly adventures a try.

A massive fan of Mob Psycho 100? Well, besides creating One-Punch Man, ONE is also the author of Mob Psycho 100, no wonder Mob and Saitama look so much alike. Twenty-four episodes are out for the anime in total, and the next season is soon to follow, so there’s plenty of One-Punch Man content for you to binge-watch.

With so many strong points, from its nitty-gritty story to the awesome and vibrant action sequences, it’s easy for us to recommend watching One-Punch Man online.
