In its bid to become the best value for money subscription service on the market, Xbox Game Pass has just added two huge games out of nowhere.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is arguably the marquee name here, the game that Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite wished it was. Many argue that it’s the pinnacle of the franchise, though purists will no doubt lean back on the 2D days.
Meanwhile, Just Cause 3 was added a day early after initially being slated to be added to Game Pass today (January 10th). If it’s explosions and cows you want, Just Cause 3 is your best possible bet. Don’t expect anything deep and you will have a whale of a time.
Also available today is the 3v3 asymmetrical shooter Aftercharge. Developed by Chainawesome Games, Aftercharge pits a team of invincible security guards against a team of John Cena robots. Get it? You can’t see them.
Xbox Game Pass is a monthly subscription that allows you to download a variety of games for Xbox One. Microsoft announced last year that all of its console exclusives would be included from day one — Crackdown 3 is next up on February 15th.
