The Trailer For The Final Game of Thrones Episode Gives Nothing Away

Guess we'll just wait?

Game of Thrones Season 8

After a decade of breasts, death, breasts, incest, breasts again, and a dragon here and there, the end of Game of Thrones is in sight with its eighth and final episode, which is due to air this Sunday.

You can check the trailer out below for the sixth episode of Game of Thrones Season 8, which really gives absolutely nothing away. I can’t even wonder what someone is looking at like I did last week. He wasn’t even wearing armour in the end.

As you can see, really not much to report here, but a solid guess would be that this is footage taken exclusively from the first ten minutes and will follow the immediate aftermath of Daenerys’ shocking heel return, which has certainly been divisive among fans.

The most notable thing about the trailer? That the actual amount of footage is about thirteen seconds: the end cards go on for longer.

There is absolutely nothing of note to gleam here, no indication of what might happen in the final episode of Game of Thrones. Really, the only thing to take away is that the Unsullied seem to have respawned, somehow? There were far less of them during the fifth episode because of their decimation in episode three, but they seem to have tripled in number. The Dothraki, too, despite being utterly ruined by white walkers, seem to be cheering on their queen in more than a handful. Unless she has called in backup from Essos, I’m just a little confused.

We’ll find out whether or not Jon and Tyrion can do more than glumly walk around a ruined King’s Landing when Game of Thrones’ last episode airs next Sunday.
