Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remake Announced, Coming This September

DO A KICKFLIP!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

On the Hawkster’s birthday, it’s been announced that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, which are remakes of the first two games, will launch on September 4th for PS4, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store. Check out the trailer below.

Similar to the remakes of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 will feature the levels and gameplay from the first two games, but with noticeable improvements to graphics (which support 4K) and also the gameplay. The trailer appears to show reverts, which were a combo-extending trick introduced in THPS 3, but I could be wrong on that.

The collection will also come with other improvements, including new additions to the character and skatepark creation tools, and the promise of skater specific missions and online multiplayer. That said, it’ll still retain all the features you remember, including the majority of the killer soundtrack. All signs are pointing to a much better title that THPS 5, but we’ll find out for ourselves when the game launches this September.
