With a jaw-dropping gameplay reveal at E3 2018 in the bag, Sony have released a bunch of beautiful new The Last of Us 2 screenshots captured with a PS4 Pro. Say what you will about Naughty Dog as a developer, but they’re nothing if not meticulous.
The screens, which were seemingly captured from the trailer footage ahead of time, run the gamut from the lovely to the grisly. If you want to fall down a deep well of theorising, check out Dina and Ellie’s wrists at different points. Looks like that’s the reason for The Last of Us 2 being a game all about hate.

The Last of Us 2 currently has no release date, though it will be coming before the end of the PS4. Gamescom and PSX aren’t that far away, so expect to see some more concrete details at the next big convention.
