Skyscraper survival, maybe?

Ubisoft have recently re-opened the Public Test Server for The Division 2, allowing players to give feedback on some upcoming changes that’ll be heading to the live game. Of course, that allowed dataminers to get a look at some potential content that Ubisoft aren’t ready to reveal just yet, with one miners finding hints of what appears to be a new survival mode.

Aside from the usual audio logs and story content, Reddit user Definitelyanalt16 found reference to a host of audio files that describe clearing out a skyscraper floor by floor, with safe room checkpoints that allows players to save their progress and return to finish the rest of the floors later.

From the way its described, this skyscraper could be the catalyst for a horde style survival mode, similar to the Underground Survival wave mode from the first game. Fans have been asking for a mode like this, but there’s no indication of which future season this mode will be a part, and that’s if it’ll ever see the light of day in the first place. Would you be interested in playing a Survival mode in The Division 2? Sound off in the comments.
