Super Lucky’s Tale, Rise of the Tomb Raider & More Join Xbox Game Pass Next Month

Xbox Game Pass

After recently teasing a big line-up of new games for the service in March, Xbox have confirmed what we will be getting for Game Pass soon. Rise of the Tomb Raider was already revealed and Sea of Thieves was surprisingly announced as being part of the service on launch day, but they are now joined by Super Lucky’s Tale, Euro Fishing, Oxenfree, Resident Evil Revelations 2, Sonic CD, and The Final Station.

All of these titles are available from March 1st, except for Sea of Thieves which will be included once it launches on March 20th. Sorry, guys, despite the case being cracked, the teaser image wasn’t typically hinting at Crackdown 3 getting a surprise drop — we will all be ash by the time that comes out.

Here’s a super quick rundown of what to expect from these soon-to-be Game Pass games:

Sea of Thieves
Rare’s big gamble looks like it might pay off with plenty of people excited for this one. Plunder co-operatively and engage in some naval warfare. Enhanced for Xbox One X.

Rise of the Tomb Raider
Takes what made the reboot so great and builds upon it with a relatively open-world and more severe trauma for our heroine. Enhanced for Xbox One X.

Super Lucky’s Tale

A throwback platformer that released to a whole bunch of shrugs, if you don’t expect the world from Super Lucky’s Tale, you might be pleasantly surprised. At least I might finally be able to update this list. Enhanced for Xbox One X.

Oxenfree
A superb side-scroller with supernatural elements, Oxenfree is a lo-fi tale of friendship and loss that will more likely than not strike a nerve.

Resident Evil Revelations 2
If you didn’t jibe with Resi 7’s tonal shift, you will probably adore Revelations 2. It’s also got Barry Burton in it, so that’s +10 points off the bat.

Sonic CD
Sonic went a bit weird when gaming started to transition to 3D, but this might be a nice little jolt of nostalgia to anyone who played it when it first came out. It’s also gladly been updated for a modern audience.

The Final Station
Possibly the least compelling new Game Pass addition, The Final Station is another side-scroller where you’re one of the only people left alive in the world and is set on a train. That should be enough to sell it to zombie fans.

Euro Fishing
You have to fish coins out of a public fountain in Prague, I think?
