Some job listings have emerged over at Sucker Punch that suggest they’re already working on a Ghost of Tsushima sequel, following up on the incredible success of their PS4 exclusive.

What Are The Job Listings?

Currently, Sucker Punch are looking for an Associate Outsource Artist and a Narrative Writer, along with some other roles too. While these roles might not seem so interesting at first, both of them list a knowledge and enthusiasm for Japanese culture and history as a big plus point for the position, suggesting that Sucker Punch aren’t done with the world of Tsushima just yet.

How Do We Know They’re Working On A Sequel?

Truth be told, we don’t. For all we know, this could be some extra content for a PS5 re-release or just a single-player expansion of some kind. The Narrative Writer job also feels like a huge confirmation, as the role expects the ideal candidate to create open-world story content, and to “write high quality dialogue under tight deadlines for a diverse cast of characters who live in the time period provided”.

Ghost of Tsushima recently dropped its free Legends update, which added some new content to the single-player experience alongside a huge multiplayer expansion. It’s possible that this is the last big content drop for Ghost of Tsushima, as Sucker Punch move on to a potential sequel, but in the meantime, we can still play this year’s game on PS5 at 60fps.
