One of the most touted features of Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode is the fact that players are able to create their own avatars in order to explore the vibrant landscape of Street Fighter, interacting with the diverse cast of characters along the way. While being able to cross fists with the likes of Ryu, Ken and others is a given, what’s more interesting is the fact that players can learn their moves too, becoming an all-conquering amalgam of street fighters in the process.
Most of World Tour’s players will likely gravitate to the established characters when choosing which special moves to learn, but there are others who’ll want to experiment with newcomers like Marisa. If you find yourself in the latter category, this is everything you should know about becoming Marisa’s student in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode.
Street Fighter 6 World Tour | Marisa Master Guide
An imposing presence and a master in the art of Pankration (gladiatorial combat), Marisa is the perfect master to learn from if you’re all about dealing massive damage in just a few hits. Her heavy attacks and some special moves like Gladius even offer some armour during the attack, which makes her very beginner-friendly. Because of that, it’s no surprise that you’ll encounter everyone’s new favourite muscle mommy fairly early on.
During Chapter 3 of World Tour mode, you’ll be tasked by the Mad Gear gang with retrieving a bag that your friend/rival Bosch hoodwinked from the gang. In a moment of pure himbo energy, you’ll meet with Counterfeiter Leonardo on the Metro City Skywalk, who’ll help you make a fake of said bag instead. For one part of the quest, he’ll send you off to Italy to meet with an up and coming jeweller who’ll help you make the bag’s clasp.
Head off to Italy, and you’ll be introduced to Marisa and her friend/pet lion Julius. After the cutscene, speak to Marisa and obtain your clasp to complete that part of the main quest, then speak to her again, stating your intention to become her student. After another cutscene, you’ll be enrolled as her student, with a new selection of moves to unleash on unsuspecting opponents.
Street Fighter 6 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S.
