Steam wishlists are not only a great way of tracking the popularity of an upcoming game, but also really help players to keep track of new games and save a lot of money with notifications once they go on sale. However, sometimes you opinions on a game can change and you’re no longer interested in it, or maybe you’re just sick of getting a notification of a discount every time a sale rolls around. Luckily, it’s a super easy process to remove games from your wishlist on Steam.

If you need to give your wallet a break or just fancy making your back catalogue a bit more organised, this step-by-step guide is what you’re after:

1. Open Steam
Open the Steam client on your computer and log in to your account.

2. Go to your Wishlist
Navigate to your wishlist by clicking on Store and then scrolling down to Wishlist. You used to be able to get to here

3. Locate the Game
Find the game you want to remove from your wishlist. You can organise by things like name, date added, and much more to find what you want.

4. Remove from Wishlist
Click on the “Remove from Wishlist” option in the bottom right of the game box. Alternatively, you might see a heart icon next to the game; clicking on it will remove the game from your wishlist.

5. Confirm
Steam may ask for confirmation to remove the game from your wishlist. Confirm the action if prompted. You can add a game back at any time.

You can also go directly to a store page and tick off On Wishlist just below the media for the game to remove any game from your wishlist.
