It would appear that the controversial multiplayer shooter Star Wars Battlefront 2 has made its way onto the EA Access Vault, as this morning it was found that the game was listed on the Microsoft Store as part of the EA Access subscription.

The listing appears on the Microsoft Store website, but it seems like the console version of the Store has yet to be updated, and PC counterpart Origin Access still only lists Star Wars Battlefront 2 as part of Origin Access Premier, the higher tier subscription that includes most EA games as standard.

Battlefront 2 looks like its rolling out in stages right now, so we should expect a formal announcement from EA at some point today. Besides, the game has been out for around a year at this point, matching the usual trend of EA games taking 6-12 months before appearing in the EA Access Vault.

Battlefront 2 recently received a huge update that includes the battle of Genosha and Obi-Wan Kenobi as a playable hero, making the game more content rich than it ever has been. Seems like now is the perfect time to jump if you haven’t already, because the perfect time clearly wasn’t when the game launched.
