Sony have announced that they’ll be hosting a brand new State of Play presentation this week, focusing on games that are coming to PS4 and PSVR. The stream will take place at 9pm BST on Thursday 6th August, and you can check out the announcement tweet below.

Sony have tempered expectations well ahead of time, informing viewers that the broadcast will be focused on upcoming PS4 and PSVR titles, along with some check-ins regarding games that were revealed back during June’s big PS5 showcase. Speaking of the PS5, there will be no big PS5 announcements at this event, so keep that in mind.

The presentation will last around 40 minutes and will include plenty of new footage regarding upcoming games, so it should be well worth checking out. Will you be tuning in to this Thursday’s State of Play? Sound off in the comments.
