Tech Armor in Sons of the Forest is unique armor that offers protection from attacks. It must be crafted from various electronic parts, with one part being relatively difficult to find.
You will need the following resources to craft Tech Armor in Sons of the Forest:
– 1x Tech Mesh
– 1x Wire
– 1x Duct Tape
– 1x Circuit Board
– 1x Batteries
All of these apart from Mesh Nest are relatively common around the island as long as you keep searching abandoned camps and bodies. Just keep checking containers and you will come across them eventually, with Circuit Board probably being the rarest. Don’t forget that you can also keep checking the containers that respawn at where you first wash up on the island for a lot of these resources.
The only resource here that is an issue is Tech Mesh, as you will need to visit the 3D Printer in the south of the island at this specific location:
To print Tech Mesh, you need to select it by cycling through the options with R, then press E to spend 250ml of Print Resin. You can find a good amount of Print Resin in this room, as well as around abandoned camps.
Once you’ve crafted the Tech Mesh, press I and then right click every resource that you need to craft Tech Armor, then select the gear icon to actually craft it. Once crafted, left click to equip it and give yourself extra protection from the island’s residents. Bear in mind that you’re only crafting one piece of Tech Armor at a time and will actually need to craft ten pieces or so for a full set.
