SNK have announced that the Xbox Series X | S version of Samurai Shodown will be launching on March 16th, 2021, bringing with it a host of enhancements to the game. You can check out the announcement trailer for yourself at the top of the page.

What’s New With The Xbox Series X | S Version Of Samurai Shodown?

Aside from the usual visual enhancements, the main benefits for Xbox Series X users specifically is that Samurai Shodown will run at 120fps, meaning you’ll be able to see those Super Special Moves coming in twice the frames. If you’re anything like me, you’ll still get blown up by the attack, but it’ll look better regardless.

The Xbox Series X | S version of Samurai Shodown was announced in September of last year, scheduled to launch alongside the new consoles, but for whatever reason, the enhanced version of one of 2019’s best fighting games was delayed.
