RWBY is an online American animation project that has been running since 2013, with many fans now looking forward to RWBY: Volume 10. Created by the late Monty Oum and produced by the Texas-based company Rooster Teeth, it follows a group of students who were training to be monster hunters. Focusing on one team of students – Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long – what starts off as a story of young future heroes growing up escalates into them getting dragged into a series of events where the fate of their world is at stake.

When Is RWBY: Volume 10 Being Released?
In an FAQ about Volume 9, one of the licensing managers, Geoff Yetter, confirmed that while Volume 10 hasn’t been greenlit, the writers are currently working on it. Other than that, there has been no further information on the development or of a release date for RWBY: Volume 10. We will update this and when anything gets announced.
What Is RWBY: Volume 10 About?
At the conclusion of Volume 9, the team returned to Remnant after their adventure in the Ever After dimension. There are some clues about RWBY Volume 10. The main story will continue: with RWBY and Jaune arriving outside Vacuo. Also, given the Blacksmith’s dialogue at the end of Volume 9, there will most likely be a time skip in Remnant, where an indeterminate amount of time has passed.
Which Studio Is Making RWBY: Volume 10?
RWBY has been animated and licensed by Rooster Teeth ever since its inception and will continue to be. The only other time another studio worked on the property officially was when Shaft produced the canon-adjacent spinoff Ice Queendom.
Where Will RWBY Volume 10 Be Aired?
It used to be that whenever RWBY came out, it would first air on the Rooster Teeth website through their First subscription program. However, as of Volume 9, Rooster Teeth has made the decision for RWBY to air exclusively on Crunchyroll. Geoff Yetter also addresses this change in the Volume 9 FAQ, stating that this was a decision to help grow the franchise, which will certainly continue for future volumes.
All of the previous volumes of RWBY, including Ice Queendom, can be found on Crunchyroll as well as the recently finished Volume 9. Volumes 1 to 8 and Ice Queendom are also available on the Rooster Teeth Website, with Volume 9 going on to the site in a year. You can also purchase the volumes on DVD and Blu-ray from Rooster Teeth. The first couple of Volumes are additionally available to rent or buy from YouTube.
