Finest Fish is a cooking ingredient in Resident Evil Village that’s needed for the Sarmale de Peste dish, which is used to greatly increase your movement speed.
To find Finest Fish, you must first beat Moreau so that you unlock the Crank. Once you have that in your possession, go towards the central hub where The Duke resides and venture west until you arrive at a raised bridge.
Use the Crank and walk over the bridge, then get in the boat and venture downriver (south) until you are able to dock again. Instead of going into the cave when you are back on land (which is where you can find the Antique Coin and other goodies), carry on south until you arrive at the pond where the Finest Fish resides.
Either shoot or stab it to claim the ingredient you need. Take the Finest Fish back to Duke along with 6x regular Fish and you will be able to eat the Sarmale de Peste.
The Finest Fish is one of three super rare ingredients you can find in Village that you can only get once, alongside the Juicy Game and Quality Meat, so make sure you don’t sell them by accident.
