Resident Evil 3 features no shortage of weaponry that you can use to blow away Umbrella’s hordes, including a tonne of special attachments that you can use to make your guns to perform better. One of those attachments is the Dot Sight for your Handgun, which you can get very early on.
While traipsing through Downtown, you will probably come across an empty, trashed store with a car driven through its wall. This is the Pharmacy. Here’s where you can find your clue as to how to get the Dot Sight. Find the poster on the wall featuring a woman and then check out the code that is circled.
9 left, 1 right, 8 left.
Here’s the location of this hint on the map.
Leave the Pharmacy and then walk across the street, going up the stairs. Enter the door and then the door on the left when you’re inside. Continue forward and you will eventually find the safe. Use 9 left, 1 right, 8 left and then press your interact button to confirm.
Out will pop the Dot Sight for your Handgun, which you then combine while it’s in your inventory.
