Over the weekend, at an event that appears to have originated from Australia, new screenshots have emerged for Soulcalibur VI that confirms the inclusion of fan favourite characters Raphael and Cervantes. Gameplay footage was also reportedly uploaded to YouTube but has since been pulled.
The images in question, compiled together into the below YouTube video, showcase Raphael and Cervantes on the character select screen, with both characters selectable alongside more recent confirmed characters like Azwel and the specified Creation slot.
There’s also four slots available on the screen, which could lead to another four characters being confirmed for the game, leading to a roster of 24 characters available at launch, but it’s perhaps more likely that those slots are reserved for the 4 confirmed DLC characters that’ll form part of the Season Pass. Tira, who has already been confirmed as DLC, doesn’t appear on the screen, so it could mean anything. Answers on a postcard please, pals.
Soulcalibur VI will be arriving on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 19th. Will you be purchasing the game? Are you excited for Raphael and Cervantes? Let us know in the comments below.
