PSVR Game Moss Release Date Revealed

Moss PS VR

One of the year’s most interesting new VR games now has its release date, and it’s coming a lot quicker than you might expect. In just over a week, to be exact.

Polyarc’s Moss, the third-person adventurer that’s cute as a button, will launch on PS VR on February 27th.

You play as Quill, a mouse on a mission to complete her heroic quest by exploring new worlds in a forgotten civilisation. Oh, and it’s all inside a book. You can expect plenty of puzzles and some solid platforming, as well as some relatively straightforward combat.

Moss is an interesting case because third-person in virtual reality isn’t typically as immersive as first-person; games like Theseus really didn’t do enough with the technology to justify it.. Still, our Ash had the chance to play it last year and was pretty impressed:

“That is the purpose of a demo after all, to give you a taste of what’s to come. In that regard, Moss succeeded, for the most part. Despite some technical issues with the motion controls, Moss appears to be successful fusion of puzzle platforming and VR, which should make it appealing to fans of both.”
