Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Where To Find Sun Stones

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Sun Stones

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet contain the many familiar evolution stones that trainers looking to fill out their Pokédex will be seeking. Evolution stones are used to evolve certain Pokémon, but not all of them will work on every Pokémon, like Sun Stones.

Throughout Paldea, only two Pokémon will need a Sun Stone to evolve. Sunkern will need a Sun Stone to evolve into Sunflora, and Petilil uses one to evolve into Lilligant. Here’s where to find Sun Stones.

During the Artazon gym test, Sunflora will drop a couple of Sun Stones after battling them so remember to keep an eye out and pick them up post-fight.

Sun Stones can also spawn in the Asado Desert, although this is rare.

Interact with sparkling spots on the ground to pick up items and hopefully the elusive Sun Stone will be one of them.

Other evolution stones that trainers may want to find include Moon Stones, Thunder Stones, Fire Stones and more.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are out now for Switch.
