Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Where To Find Moon Stones

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet includes the familiar mechanic of requiring specialised stones in order to evolve certain Pokémon. Amongst the 400 Pokémon in the Paldea region, only one currently requires a Moon Stone in order to evolve: Jigglypuff.

When a Moon Stone is used, Jigglypuff will evolve into Wigglytuff. This could change when Pokémon Home is added and the possibility of importing Pokémon owned in other games arrives, but for now here’s where to find Moon Stones.

Moon Stones can be found on Glaseado Mountain or in Area Zero, if you’ve reached that part of the main story.

Interact with sparkling spots on the ground in these two areas until you find a Moon Stone. To then use the Moon Stone, go into your Bag > Moon Stone and press A, then select the relevant Pokémon to use the stone on.

Elsewhere in Scarlet and Violet, here’s where you can find Everstone and also where you can locate Eeevee.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are out now for Switch.
