Sony have been putting a lot of effort into making PlayStation Now “a thing” recently after the streaming service seemingly struggled to catch on. Many players have previously used a free trial to try it out for themselves, but now you can get another bite of the cherry at no extra cost.
Sony have just announced that those who already used a PlayStation Now free trial will be eligible for a new one. This means that if you’ve previously tried the seven days of free games on PS Now, you have a second chance to figure out if it’s for you.

Sony also revealed the new games that had just been added to the service, which include the following for either streaming or downloading:
100ft Robot Golf
Asdivine Hearts
Bound
Bridge Constructor
Carmageddon: Max Damage
Ducati: 90th Anniversary
Elder Scrolls Online
Sniper Elite 4
Styx: Shards of Darkness
Torment: Tides of Numenera
In fairness, PlayStation Now is a completely different beast to the one that I reviewed a long while back. The interface is better and with the option to download select games, it’s a much better deal. It has a long way to go to match Game Pass, but at least Sony are trying.
That being said, I’m yet to try out the fidelity and ease of streaming games on PlayStation Now. I’ve been seriously hankering for some Undead Nightmare, so I guess I will find out. How about you? Are you going to be giving PlayStation Now another chance to impress?
