PS5 owners, act now.

One of the bigger selling points of being a PlayStation Plus subscriber on PS5 is the fact that it includes the PS Plus Collection, a sampling of 20 PS4 games across a wide variety of genres that you can play as part of your subscription. However, the Collection is getting a little bit smaller, as Sony have announced that Persona 5 is being removed.

During today’s announcement of April 2022’s PlayStation Plus line-up, it was revealed at the bottom of the PlayStation Blog post that “Persona 5 will leave the PS Plus Collection on May 11th”. This will drop the total games available on the PlayStation Plus Collection down to 19.

Again, the PlayStation Plus Collection is a feature that’s available to subscribers who own a PS5, with players able to claim and download 20 different games at no additional cost to their subscription. While Persona 5 is being removed from the PS Plus Collection, those who add the game to their library before May 11th will be able to continue playing the game after it’s removed, so long as they continue to have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
