UPDATE (30/03/2022): It has now been confirmed that the PlayStation Plus line-up for April 2022 will include Hood: Outlaws & Legends for PS4 and PS5, Slay The Spire for PS4 and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated for PS4. Check out the announcement tweet below.

ORIGINAL POST (29/03/2022): After the blockbuster announcement earlier today that PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now would be getting a huge revamp later in the year, the leaked news of April 2022’s new PlayStation Plus games line-up seems a bit tame by comparison. However, there’s still plenty there for players to sink their teeth into. According to a leak from Dealabs, the three games that’ll be available for PS Plus subscribers are as follows:

– Hood: Outlaws & Legends (PS5, PS4)
– Slay the Spire (PS4)
– SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (PS4)

Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a multiplayer game that combines competitive heisting with a medieval setting. Players band together in teams to compete against each other in a grand heist. It’s a PvPvE game, where your friends are always close, but your enemies might be closer.

Slay The Spire is a deckbuilding roguelike where the player picks one of four characters and make their way through floors of procedurally generated encounters. Players earn new cards as a reward for winning fights, with more powerful cards leading to stronger attacks as a result. In order to survive, you’ll need the strongest deck possible.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is the modern re-release of a platforming classic, offering hours of fun for players of all ages. If you’re a huge trophy hunter, this will probably be the highlight of April 2022’s PS Plus offering, but there’s plenty to enjoy for everyone here.

These new PlayStation Plus games will be available from April 5th, 2022.
