For fans of the original version of Resident Evil 2, Capcom have just confirmed the existence of two legendary unlockable bonus modes in the remake version. The 4th Survivor and The Tofu Survivor will both be available in Resident Evil 2 when the game launches on January 25th.
The 4th Survivor puts you in the well worn military boots of the mysterious Hunk, series veteran and all-round badass. That said, he can’t hold a candle to the ultimate badass of the series: Tofu, the bizarre secret character that originated as a means for Capcom developers to test collision detection. Now look at him in full HD glory.

The trailer below plays when you complete the 30 minute demo that launched on Friday, but Capcom have confirmed on Twitter that the characters will appear in their unlockable bonus modes, just like the original game. Yes, that needed confirming by the way. Can’t be too sure these days. They could have been DLC for all we know.
