Despite being announced back in 2016 (and scheduled for a 2017 release), Oddworld Inhabitants have revealed the first ever gameplay trailer for the next instalment of the Oddworld Quintology, Oddworld: Soulstorm. Right, that’s enough uses of the word Oddworld in the first paragraph. Wait, damn it. Check out the debut gameplay trailer below.
In Soulstorm, players take control of Abe once again, who is basically now a leader of a revolution, able to command his followers to take down enemies. Physics also plays more of a role in Soulstorm than before, with destructible levels allowing for plenty of creative puzzle solving. Players will also be able to create new items using crafting tools.
There’s also seems to be plenty of lovely cinematics to ogle at, with another released trailer showcasing an action-packed train chase sequence. Oddworld: Soulstorm is scheduled to launch in early 2020. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments below.
